Sanctuary Egg Hunt: An event for children and families where they can "forage" for eggs on sanctuary grounds

Discovery Days: Our largest event offering low-cost tours of the sanctuary, perfect for guests of all ages

Great Ape Escape: A 5K event utilizing the picturesque hiking trails located on sanctuary grounds

Chimp or Treat: A Halloween-themed tour with treat stations positioned around the habitats to allow the chimps to observe the funnily-dressed humans

Celebrations are themed chimp events including chimp-appropriate treats, enrichment activities, and decorations. At Project Chimps, our mission is to provide exemplary care to chimpanzees in need while educating and inspiring humanity

Project Chimps provides sanctuary care to chimpanzees who have spent the majority of their lives in research labs.

After their time in research, the chimps we re-home in our sanctuary deserve everything we can give and more, and your support during events like these makes that possible.
